Incoterms® 2020 rules are internationally recognised trade terms that set out who arranges and pays for each stage of delivery, and where risk passes from seller to buyer. Choosing the right one matters as much as the price itself.
Under EXW the buyer collects from the seller's premises and handles almost everything. Under FOB the seller loads the goods on the vessel and the buyer takes over from there. Under CIF the seller also pays freight and insurance to the destination port, although risk passes at loading. Under DAP the seller delivers to an agreed place at destination, ready for unloading.
Buyers with their own freight arrangements often prefer FOB. Buyers who want a single delivered price usually prefer CIF or DAP. We are happy to quote on the terms that suit your operation.
